Ingrid plays a key role in helping both residential and commercial clients enhance their properties, from the initial consultation to detailed planning and contract creation. How long have you been with K&H?

A:

I’ve been with the K&H for 3 months

What does your job entail?

A:

My work begins with meeting residential and commercial customers looking for landscape solutions to improve their properties. This encompasses taking pictures, measurements, documenting details and writing contracts. I collaborate with my team members to ensure we meet our clients’ expectations with professional care.

What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

A:

My dad.

Q:

Can you share a bit about your background and journey that led you to your current position?

A:

Growing up, I was more often outside than not, developing a strong appreciation for plants and animals. I later decided to pursue an education in agriculture at Virginia Tech, which led me to working in the Horticulture industry. Over the years I have learned many aspects from growing, selling, and marketing plants which led me to my current role at K&H, where I share my knowledge.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?

A:

Be open to learning things from your peers.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

A:

Being outside in nature taking hikes and family outings.

What’s one thing on your outdoor living space bucket list?

A:

Having a water feature to attract more butterflies and birds.
